ORIGIN
Story
PrideSquatch is the brainchild of Alaskan surveyor Timothy R. Reed. He's had a fascination for Squatch going way back. During pandemic times, he took up painting and sculpting and started futzing with the idea of PrideSquatch. He now sees PrideSquatch as a movement:
"Sasquatch obviously understands what it’s like to be invisible, marginalized, ignored, and misunderstood. Sasquatch is a strong figure that I wanted sashed in a rainbow to symbolize my feelings for all humanity who aren’t billionaire d!cks."
With an initial outlay of $2K, Reed bankrolled the startup of PrideSquatch.org in hopes that someday the Movement will fund itself. He has made his design open source and copyright-free so that anyone can adopt a Squatch and make their own merch.

The original analog design, posted by Reed to Facebook June 12, 2022, captioned, "I call this piece “Safety in Numbers.” But also, “It’s Tough When You’re Invisible”"
What do you call a herd of Sasquatch?
A transcendence!

"Perhaps someday in the future, good people will have learned how to sketch a Sasquatch in the dirt with their toe like a Jesus fish (or do the 3-finger PrideSquatch gesture) to discreetly advise those around them that they are safe, loving, accepting, and peaceful."
